THE DEITY OF CHRIST

 'Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'.

Jesus of Nazareth, the Messaih, was the only one whose coming into this world and mission was predicted, contrasted with founders of other major religions in the wolrd . Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.Matthew 3:3, For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.Christ, is the only one who had a forerunner sent to prepare the world for his coming in the person of john, the baptist Matthew 3:11-12, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

There is no religion founder who condemns sin like christ and equally show love for mankind like him. Luke 13:2-3, And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.John 8:10-11, When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.The church of Christ admits there are sinners even in the church, but that the power of grace is much more than the presence of sin. Romans 5:20, Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:John 3:17, For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He was the one who openly forgave sins and the effect was seen in healings and recoverings from sickness and deformities in people. He equate himself with God, followed by proof [forgiveness of sins and assurance of eternal life, and like he told the thief on the cross, Luke 23:43, And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. He is the only one who died a shamful death; on the cross. He is the only one who said he comes from above John 8:23, And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. He also said to his followers ; John 15:4, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Jesus was introduced to the world by God the father in River jordan, Matthew 3:17, And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Jesus is the only one of religious founders whose divinity was made known from the beginning. Isaiah 7:14, Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.Matthew 2:2 ,saying, `Where is he who was born king of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and we came to bow to him.'Matthew 1:21, And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.Jesus is the only founder who who was persecuted from infancy by the powers that be at that time. Read Matthew 2:12-14, And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: Jesus predicted his own death and resurrection.Matthew 28:6-7, He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. The resurrection of the Jesus from the death has remain the most powerful claim of deity which can not be debunked today; his tomb has remained empty while the tomb of all other founders remain visible for all to see.
