THE VALIDATION OF JESUS CLAIM

        John 20:9
For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Let us for once skip the diatribe and examine with an open heart the message of Easter as told by the Christians. Will not like to bore you with history and all what the scholars have been saying, so here is the summary.

  1. That the birth of Jesus is not as significance as his death. forget the festivity associated with Christmas and the flurry. Christ even though his birth was predicted by the major prophets in the old testament still had to live like   the first man, Adam who brought sin about. He had to go through the same situation  without any extra power to overcome. He was tempted like Adam , but he did not sin because he chose to obey God , rather than the momentary pleasure of obeying Satan. He had the propensity to sin , but overcame hence, was ministered to by the angels. He had to pass the test the bible says in the book of  Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
  2. Christ expressed his willingness to go through all that was required to set man free, from the grip of sin, and the effect of the ' eternal condemnation as a result of sin. This he did whilst he prayed his last in the garden,  Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
  3. Without his sinless blood  nothing could have been accomplished.  Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
  4. Despite the many miracles he did, many remained skeptical of his claim , indeed, miracles and the feeding of men by the thousands, was not enough to authenticate his claim as the messiah, we all agree because the magicians in Egypt were able to replicate some miracles done by Moses from Egypt could perform miracle, the impossible was to rise from the death.
  5. The spiritual dearth or lack of spiritual insight , or just  being plain dumb or prejudiced, made many to spun and despise him, but in death some like the soldiers became convinced he was indeed, the son of God saying,  Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
  6. Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  The echo of the Angel was the triumphal and victorious blow given to death by Jesus on that day, hence we celebrate today.
Therefore, we assert and proclaim that his death and ability to resurrect authenticate   his divine mission to mankind was indeed, true; this is the victory that keeps Christians to have the effrontery to stand on the podium, pulpit and platforms today, the final vindication and the power of Christianity that make them go from street to street preaching this good news to all today.

Happy celebration celebration
