WAR NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. An excellent definition of faith must include work, but the work acts as a compliment, not a supplement; we place faith ahead of the work. The book of james put it this way: What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? James 2:14 When a Brother called out of darkness, and ordained of God to preach, tell those who are still in ignorance of this wonderful grace, and miss the mark at some point and the reason for his calling, it takes another man of God to correct him; not angels or celestial bodies. Truth tellers should not be afraid of a backlash as long as they are in the will of their master. An excellent servant is he who does the will of his master without adding, removing, or embellishing the message . Prayer is not asking God to make your other team lose Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Prayer is not asking God to demote your boss and put you in his position. it is God that has put him there whether he/ she is a believer Psalms 75:6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Prayer is not asking God to kill your enemies and detractors. Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Prayer is not asking God to give you too what your neighbour just bought. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Prayer is not asking God to punish your enemies. Let Him do what HE seems best to them.2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The body of christ is filled with people who who do not know their God, neither do they desire to know him and the wonderful love he has for humanity. If we are privileged to hear the request of many of them, we though humans will be embarrassed by the voices screaming: kill him for me, demote him, let him not get his desire to fulfilled, put me ahead, let me win, make me the richest in my family. Let no man be deceived for these kinds of desire or yearnings are not pray but the crave of a canal mind. It is the onerous duty of the pastor to make them know this truth. Like the poster above, that is the agitations of our minds, the team who practices and plays better games will win that law falls under the principle of hard work. hard work and it is a principle set by God. If you work and make necessary sacrifice, you will achieve your goals. That was why in the bible they could build that tower. Jesus did the same thing, preaching everywhere he did not wait or build a city for others to come, but went about with the good news, knowing there is a time limit. John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. MARANATHA! Share this:

 Recently, the general oversea and founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, marked his 70th birthday.
