THOSE IN NEED OF SECOND TOUCH

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Acts 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? The above verses are a ‘super verse,’ from the little insight I have been able to gain from the words of God; for who Can I Say I know it all. God’s word is ‘new” every day, and the revelation keeps expanding as we give time to meditation and assimilation. The church today faces a danger due to lack of knowledge of the Divinity of christ and his purpose in our life and the world. Many now take the bible analyse it and interpret it in a way that suits them; they forget the bible is the logos and the Rhema. Without the Rhema you can not be blessed or get anything meaningful from it. You do not intellectualise the bible otherwise you can not hear what God is telling you or the body of christ. A bible teacher called christian religion knowledge differs from a Sunday school teacher: one is solely from the perspective of academy and history and the other is from a spiritual perspective. One is filled with the spirit of God and the other with full academic knowledge. A good example of where they differ is this:Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. This verse is a complete spiritual one that requires the understanding provided by the holt spirt to interpret. The school teacher can not explain this well. But the Sunday school teacher or pastor can. Jesus told peter this in Matthew 16:17, And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. A school teacher may just end up saying that Jesus was just a good moral teacher to his students, but those who have received a second touch know that Jesus is much more than that. The father has revealed to them the full meaning of John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him; I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Like the biblical zaccheaus have you sought for Jesus? Have you received him as your personal lord and saviour? You may be conversant with the bible or be in the church for years or even a church worker, that does not mean you are saved. Make that decision today see Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. See you in church!
