The perverse spirit

To know you have to look beyond their sweet words, their ingratiating words and their show of love and loyalty. Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. Even so the heart is not the correct barometer to know those who are loving or kind; for the bible says of the heart: Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? In the spirit of man lies the true identity of the person. That is why God deals with us from the spirit. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Wihout the spirit involvement we can not be aid to be new creatures.2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. The bible says a tree is known by its fruit, so too, is a man known by his character. The kind of spirit you possess. Let us talk about the perverse spirit, one of the most subtle spirit many display in the church today. Twisting the word: see 2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Contentious and argumentative: see Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: Doctrinal errors: see Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Lovers of pleasure: 2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Utter display of foolishness: this is a life devoid of the will of the creator. Ungodly and carnal.Proverbs 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? A filthy mind: see Proverbs 2:11-12 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

PRIDE DEFLATOR

  Luke 18:13,  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as   his   eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
