preparation for 2022

Hebrews 12:2:“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” How do you provoke God to pour out his blessing upon you despite the gloom being predicted by the expert for the fast approaching 2022?, [thanks to the omicron variant] one can hardly see any brightness in the horizon when pitched against their conclusion. ‘2 Kings 7:1-2 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. When there is so much gloom, so much despair, filling the air of our tomorrow and blurring our hope of the future, one can not, but utter, in the negative, like the Lord in the aforementioned bible passage. It takes a strong faith not to believe when men, skilled and tried in medical fields, and global economic shifts regarding monetary movement. It takes a stronger faith not to believe what you are seeing with your two naked eyes when you have been conditioned to a dismal situation. Our eyes are powerful regarding convictions. no wonder Satan and his cohorts always use what you see as an effective weapon to derail you from your “looking unto God”. Yet, not all you see is real, but you need another eye in order to disbelief what your naked eyes is seeing. Therein, comes, the eyes of “Faith”. This is another eyes that do not see like men, but see what God says happening. Do you have it? These “eyes of faith”, will not just see it, but will bring it to reality because you dare to believe the word of God, not what you see, what you hear, or what you feel. Moved to action, for God has said it. Do not make provision for the flesh, but make provision for the Spirit to fulfill what God has said. It is like going out to purchase maternity wares despite the report that says you can not get pregnant. your action being based on the word of God. see Deutoronomy7:14. ‘Jeremiah 15:16, Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Just like there is a place for physical food on the inside, so too, there is a place for our spiritual food on the inside. Just like we need the food for labor and energy sapping job so we need the spiritual [word of God] when faced with mountains and bridges that limit our vision and hope for tomorrow. Faith says, ‘God can do it’. Doubt says, ‘ how can God do it’?. See mathew19:26,2kings7:18. May you please God enough for him to separate you from whatever downturns others may experience in 2022. See your 2022 via the lens of faith, base on God’s promise. Remember, ability to face what others are running from makes you special. Remain strong in HIM.
