HE WILL BE MISSED..A TITAN GON
One of the first popular christian televangelist to juxstapux christian religion with politics, Pat Robertson, a Baptist minister with a passion for politics, has slept in the lord. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:The above sripture summise the life of this enigma man of God who founded the Christian Broadcasting Network, CBN.Perhaps best known for offering prayer and political commentary at the helm of The 700 Club, the flagship program of his media ministry, Robertson’s rise to prominence is rooted in what he called a vision from God to create The Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded in 1960.
A prolific innovator, he also started a Christian university, a legal advocacy group, and an international NGO specializing in disaster relief. He was one of the the christian leaders who beleives a christian clergy can make it in business if God so wills it for him.
Mr. Robertson built an entrepreneurial empire based on his Christian faith, encompassing a university, a law school, a cable channel with broad reach, and more. A product of a family with politics in its veins, he waged a serious though unsuccessful campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in 1988 in which he resigned as a Baptist minister in the face of criticism about mixing church and state.
The loss did not dampen his political fervor; he went on to found the Christian Coalition, which stoked the conservative faith-based political resurgence of the 1990s and beyond.
Whether in the pulpit, on the stump or in front of a television camera, Mr. Robertson could exhibit the mild manner of a friendly local minister, chuckling softly and displaying an almost perpetual twinkle in his eye.
perhaps, the most those admires like me, disagreed with him was when he quipped , After Donald Trump was elected president, that those who opposed him were “revolting against what God’s plan is for America”. His life was free from scandals mostley associated with foremost evangelist and populare pastors and Apologetics, Adultery and financial scandals. He was a selfmade billionaire.
