The unchanging changer or the God that fights my enemies?

 In the cheuch of God today, we have it all; characters in different shades and hues. some encouraging and not.These characters has been in the church from the onset, and by thier fruits you shall know them.

In the bible, we read that many came to jesus; not all came to hear him, some came to find what they might use to entrap him, others came to find immediate solution to thier problems and some came because they perceived he is the missiah, the promised saviour as promised in the book of Isaiah 9:6-7, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The best way to get from God, is to know his son, jesus christ, and to acknowledge him as lord and saviour.Acts 2:21, And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. This calling upon the lord means to accept him as your saviour and your lord. for as your saviour he has saved you from sin that would have condemn you before God,and as lord he now leds, and you follow him. Many in the church today, have not come to see Jesus as thier lord, hence, they find it difficult to obey him. That means no faith nor trust, in his leading. Jesus once said: Luke 6:46, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? when we are not ready to give all to jesus and trust him, when we are not ready to abardon our old practices and religious habits this will shorten the hands of God in our lives. our motive for coming to the lord must be because of what jesus said in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. All must see the need for salvation. Many comes to the church, seeing jesus as one who fights thier percieved enemies— mother in-law, friends or associate. Many more would rather,hear prophecy thier mother in-law is thier ach enemy and what she is up to right now, and they will give or do anything that the prophet desires. many engage in fasting to fight thier enemies, many have paid prophets to do thier fighting, many go to the mountain and spend days fighting these enemies. yet, we fight not against flesh and blood! so says the bible. The truth is that Prophecy in the church of christ is more of forthtelling and the will of Jesus, for his church rather, than personal. Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. What would shock these kinds of churgoers is that Jesus wants all these people saved even if the accusations are true. Many came to jesus,but the ones jesus commended were those who knew thier need of salvation and who he is.Luke 10:39,And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.Luke 10:42 ,But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Jesus changes people lives from being miserable to blessed. A real encounter does not leave you were you were in life before. A man called zaccheous experiend this.Luke 19:5-9, And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

I have often told people that when we come to God he will never forsake us no matter the sin, but he also does not start pouring financial needs on us, rather, God starts with the fogivenss of our sins. That is a blessing on its own. The psalmist captured it all in Psalms 32:1 A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Our lord repeating and re echoing the old testament said in the book of Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. When we have thie mindset we shall know God indeed, His ways and his desires from us. when you love someone you want to know him more, be close to him and ofcourse please him.
