THE CHRISTIAN STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS

 When a man becomes ‘born again’ [see John 3:3), this newfound faith affects all aspects of his life. There is a transformation emanating from the word of God [which now dwells in you.] See 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

[Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.]

There is a spiritual translation of his life to the extent that he now belongs to a new family. The book of Peter puts it this way:

‘1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Our way of thinking is renewed, they shape our perspective through the scriptural lens. Our desires are tailored to what the Lord wants from us as we learn from him, and our carnal desires are crucified, and we live now for the Lord. Indeed, our finances, flows towards what God wants from us; for the church, ministries, organizations whose aims and tasks are to make sure the gospel is preached and in all nations. Need i mention that some in carrying out these tasks have met with death in the hands of opposition in forms of government or individual in some of these nations.

We are mindful and careful in all we do and say because we have become Christ’s ambassadors in our world. When we prosper, we do so because of the Lord; when we give, we do so because the Lord asked of us. There are spiritual laws and personal adjustments the Christian must follow in order to be successful.

WHAT GOD SAYS: Believe is very important as well as personal conviction. You can not go above your expectation and believe. You must believe that God wants it for you, not because others say so. Without believing it, you can not set the compass of your heart to locate where to find your desires or to take you to the place to nurture your dream. Our lord says all things are possible to those who believe. Without believing, you can not locate where your prosperity lies or the vocation that will spring you up the ladder; you can not excel in whatever you do without believing in your heart. If you are the type that feels uncomfortable with affluence, how can you become affluent? if you feel uneasy with the people of fame and wealth, how can you become wealthy? Some christian feels uncomfortable with the blessing God has bestowed on them. They feel righteousness is associated with hand to mouth and constant financial strains. God can not do more than what you do not believe him to do. Those who deny miracles can not be a recipient of one. It is where you place God in your life he will operate from.[no more no less] When i was about 8 years of age I started to resent my father’s wealth because i was always the cynosure of all eyes then and that made a shy boy almost to feel uncomfortable; I always feel too different from the kids on the bloc, why not? My father had the first sotry building in the street, my father and grandfather had cars with my grandfather having a driver in a street where almost all ride bicycles. My father used to have a Citroën D super, a car, that works on hydraulics for lifting when about to drive off; my friends come over to me then and talked about that car; that they have heard it literally jump over the river. I remember boys cluttering round our windows then to watch television. Today, it is different. Boy flaunts their father’s wealth and even exaggerates it. Maybe it is a good thing; I wish I know better. Some Christians are like that today; they feel comfortable in ‘lack and say, ‘ my God shall supply’. Thier comfort zone is a place of little or none. I want to emphasize again the power of belief.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

PRIDE DEFLATOR

  Luke 18:13,  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as   his   eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
