ENTER HIS REST

 Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

To all the people of faith in God and those who desire to become one, there is a promise from God to usward. And this promise becomes part of our heritage when we surrender to the leadership of the Holy spirit. Being led by the holy spirit is an integral part of a christian walk with God. see Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. It is the obedience to God through the leadership of the holy spirit that ultimately puts the christian in the part of redemption. God sees all of us like his beloved sheep and his purpose is to be our shepherd, but of us who profess to be christian finds it difficult to allow this shepherd, God, to have his way in all we do. The reason for redemption is to separate us from the world and make us distinct, even though we are still in the world. As good sheep we are docile; this is a quality expected of a sheep; a sheep that is stubborn gets the shepherd’s rod. This rod put the sheep back on line, which is a way of protection against the wolves.

Another quality of a good sheep is it can recognize His Master’s Voice, see John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name and leadeth them out. We live in a world with many voices seeking to advise us, comfort us or just be there for us in time of need, but not all these voices can meet our spiritual and emotional needs. Some of these advisers takes us through the wrong path to our regrets. Such has ruined many marriages today. How many only wanted just a ‘puff’, of the stuff only to get hooked and are now certified addicts.. Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

The same way God, brought the children of Israel out of the land of bondage in Egypt, with a purpose to bring them to a land flowing with milk and honey. This God, also has a purpose for all Christians. To redeem us from every shackle that hinders us from achieving his purpose for our lives. No one is born by accident even though you may not have been love after birth, or have been given out through adoption, but there is a purpose for your life otherwise you would not have been born or survive the months of pregnancy.

There is a place in this world that God wants you to occupy through making your little contribution. No one is useless, for that is what the enemy will have you believed. And if you are a believer there is a place for you. This promised land is not in heaven, but here on earth,a spiritual place within you. This land is the Pasteur. Psalms 100:3, Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture! It behooves us, therefore, to allow the holy spirit to lead us for in that way we can enter this Pasteur. Read Psalms 23:2 ,He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. There is always a leading before we get to the green Pasteur. Sad enough, many professed Christians do not even know this Pasteur many do not know the place of obedience in our walk with God. Making declarations of Faith: [I am a child of God and God loves me, I receive him i am saved, i am above and not beneath…] without a life of allowing the Spirit to lead, HE [ Holy spirit is a person] can not take you to this place.

This is a rest for the Christian, but there is a clause…Isaiah 1:19, if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

A christian, puts God first in all things and looking to him for direction through the bible , and the leading of the Holy spirit. It is the measure of the knowledge of God that will determine how much we allow ourselves to be lead. Read Matthew 4:1, Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Romans 8:14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. It is Gods will to make you kow his will in every aspect of your life and that, will always result in peace .Isaiah 26:3, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

we hinder blessings both spiritual and temporal, if we do not stay in obedience.

This REST, therefore, is a spiritual place your heart dwells, nomatter, what goes on around you. You have your peace and trahqulity, that emanates from your inside. No man can take that from you. John 14:27a, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.

  MUST ATTEND A CHURCH THAT BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY . The pupilt is what tranforms and build a man. When a pupilt is powerful with the word of God it translates into the life of the people in the pews. When a pastor receives a word concerning healing, prosperity, faith in God, whatever he receives when delivered like a good messenger, not missing it it will robs off on the congregation; that is a church. It is not all the time that God may have a specific word for the church , but it rests on the pastor to give the word like he ought to.   Today, we round up this series. I hope the Holy spirit will expand these seeds in you, for indeed, the word of God needs illumination through the working holy spirit. Teachers only ignite the flame and the Holy spirit illumines it to those who are willing.
