BISHOP BUDDE MISSED IT ALL
The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard line Trump hater.
“She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart.
“She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our country and killed people.
“Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA.
“Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one.
“She is not very good at her job! She and her church owe the public an apology!” Trump posted on Truth Social.
For more clarity, below are the bishop’s words:Addressing the President, Budde said, “There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families—some who fear for their lives. I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President, on those in our communities whose children fear their parents will be taken away, and that you help those who are fleeing war zones and persecution in their own lands to find compassion and welcome here where we think she missed it. Our bishop may have meant well, but the outcome only shows that there are issues as clergy men /women we ought not to dabble in. words like lesbian, gay and transgender
Where we think she missed it.Our bishop may have meant well, but the outcome only shows that there are issues as clergy men /women, we ought not to dabble in. Mention words like gay, lesbian and transgender in most pulpits will still curse quite a stir and murmurs. Many denominations of the church are yet to come to terms with these groups and there are those who thinks it will amount to compromise if they are accepted into the mainstream, into the church save if their mission is to come and renounce and seek prayers. Therefore, the bishop was not entirely representing the body of christ. Furthermore, Paul's advice concerning those in Authority was to pray for them1 Timothy 2:1-4, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. [KJV] I doubt if Paul would have preferred to ask for the freedom of slaves rather than an opportunity to preach to the king; because that is the mission, preaching the gospel while staying clear of politics. Furthermore, dealing with sensitive requests from those in authority calls for prayers and we first ask God for direction. Queen Esther was facing a daunting task on the face of a threat of genocide of her people, yet her husband had the right to quell the plan, but it was that easy to do here is the bible excerpt: Esther 4:16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. Queen Esther knew the implication of what she was about to embark on, but she handled it with prayers and fasting , soliciting prayers from others. Changing our mind about what we believe or foregoing our stance about some convictions is difficult, let alone a politician foregoing his promises to the electorates. What would happen in the midterm election? It takes God to change our ways. See Proverbs 21:1, The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. It is becoming quite alarming the way ecclesiastics are dabbling into politics, forgetting the biblical standard; this ought not to be we can correct, reprove these politicians by first taking them to God for help to lead right and wisdom to govern. Being quick to condemn their ways or policies does not cut it. And it was a non brainer tasking a new elected president to withdraw policies that got him elected in the first place.
