IS JESUS THE SON OF GOD?[2]
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The coming of the son of God [incarnation] was hinted in this verse. A woman does not have seed, but a man. if a woman should give birth without the seed of a man then that itself is a miracle. This miracle was necessary because the seed of Adam, from whence came all seeds that produce humans was already corrupted by sin.[ you can not wash a dirtywhite clothing with muddy water and expect it to remain white. Paul explaining this to us, said in the in Romans 5:12 ,Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: If therefore, an atonement must come it has to be from a being, a man, who does not have the blood of Adam. This is impossible. God has to make a provision, for his son to come in the flesh, born as man,[ incarnation of christ] See Romans 5:15, But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. ‘which is by one man, Jesus Christ [God becoming man via incarnation] The prophet of old also predicted this coming of ‘Immanuel’, many years later. prophet Isaiah announced: Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Take note of : [A son is given and The mighty God] The prophet never menced words in calling him that name, he never said a great propeht, but calls him the mighty God. See also Isaiah 7:14, Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. if you are not God you can not be called God in the old testament for that will be a sin of blashemy which carries stoning the sentence of stoning to death. The children of Israel were expecting God, to send his son; they were informed by the prophet of old. They knew that thier yearly atonement for sin through a lamb and a priest, would one day stop; God would provide a perfect lamb to pay the price for sin, once, and for all. A Lamb, in form of man. When that time came a forerunner, who is the great John the Baptist. This is how it came to being: Matthew 1:18-23, Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Was the coming of the son of God not predicted in the old testament? was there no reason given for his coming? was the one that was to come not called a son, and the might God? Is there a criteria given to suggest, that Jesus the christ, who claimed to be the messiah did not meet? At what point in his journey on earth, did they think he was not the one? The banner that was spread in front of a Mosque at a location called Leki, in Nigeria, for about 24 hours before it was brought down never, gave any reason that jesus was not the son of God. That incidence is what prompted this articles, to persuade with proof, that Jesus is the son of God, and it was he who was predicted in the old testament. The majority of those who disbelieve in christ as the son of God, had never given a persuasive reason, arguement, or sound proof that he is not the son of God. I am persuaded to think that admitting the obvious would mean them denying the fundamentals of thier own religion and many find this dangerous.
