  What is forgiveness? to answer this question we must go to the bible for the very act of forgiveness is a divine one, therfore, we sholud have our defintion from the word of God. Read with me   Psalms 145:8-9,  The LORD   is   gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD   is   good to all: and his tender mercies   are   over all his works. This is where we must start. The very one to whom all owns forgivenss is God. Why so? This is because God as our maker, deserves worship and adoration, indeed obedience.  Firstly, what is salvation? It has to do with the acceptance of the message, sum and sunstance christianity is about. let us read this; Acts 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. John 3:16-17, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   Let me say from the onset that while we are still on the subkect of prayers, it should not be use as a weapon to kill our perceived enemeis nor, more importantly, sen as a ‘magic wand’ that gives us all we asked of the father.   For the past few weeks, we have been on the subject of prayers, an important aspect of the believer. God hears all we say, just like man-made bug can transmit conversations in your bedroom, to an eavesdropper, thousands of miles away, just like a mobile phone can send your voice to somebody in another continent. God no doubt, due to omnipotence and omnipresence abilities can hear all. The real question is does he answer all?   Revelation 8:4 And the smoke of the incense,  which came  with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand . In continuation on this important topic in Christianity, let us examine through the written word of God the other prayer that God desires to hear from the saints who have access to his throne.   When Sukura Owodunni, decided what she needed was deliverance, little did she know it will almost end her life. The21-year-old lady was allegedly and inadvertently, set ablaze by a white garment church pastor, Taiwo Odubiyi, when he was trying to perform deliverance on her at his Cherubim and Seraphim church in Offin in the Sagamu area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The sad incident happened on August 17, 2023, when the victim visited the church for a special prayer at the pastor’s invitation. The pastor directed the victim to buy Amazing Grace perfume, local eggs and a candle for the special prayer. While praying for her, they said the pastor emptied the content of the perfume on the lady’s body and lit the candle. Immediately after the pastor lit the candle, they said Owodunni suddenly up in flames, causing serious burns to her chest, shoulder and legs.
