Lady On Fire During Special Prayer

 When Sukura Owodunni, decided what she needed was deliverance, little did she know it will almost end her life. The21-year-old lady was allegedly and inadvertently, set ablaze by a white garment church pastor, Taiwo Odubiyi, when he was trying to perform deliverance on her at his Cherubim and Seraphim church in Offin in the Sagamu area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The sad incident happened on August 17, 2023, when the victim visited the church for a special prayer at the pastor’s invitation. The pastor directed the victim to buy Amazing Grace perfume, local eggs and a candle for the special prayer. While praying for her, they said the pastor emptied the content of the perfume on the lady’s body and lit the candle. Immediately after the pastor lit the candle, they said Owodunni suddenly up in flames, causing serious burns to her chest, shoulder and legs. They arrested the suspect after the Divisional Police Officer in Adigbe, CSP Abdulfattah Ogunsanya, and his men stormed the premises on Tuesday. SP Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident to crime reporters on Wednesday, noted that further investigation had unraveled the circumstances of the case. “The lady was said to have been abandoned by the so-called deliverance pastor without medical attention. The victim has been taken to the hospital for medical attention. “Our men have arrested the suspect. They will transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department after the preliminary investigation is perfected,” said the police spokesman.

LAST NOTE:Sapphire strokes have always frowned at these so-called spates of deliverance inform of sacrificial purchases, which most times the victim can not afford. The beauty of the Gospel is that no gift, power healing, protection, favor or any other gift of God is purchased.
