Man’s quest for immortality.
It was Nikolai Fedorov , a Russian philosopher who once said that humans could intervene in their own evolution and so direct it towards immortality and resurrection. He attributed this to ‘knowledge and common labor’ but not a miracle. Nikolai does not belief there is another life nor there exist a soul in man. But let us hear what Jesus said in the book of Matthew 10:28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Jesus, our lord and savior, made this known in one of his epic teachings in the Bible. We can deduce from the statement that human is more than the physical body; there is more to the physical man. But science gives us a different narrative. We are what we see just this physical body with internal and external organs.
