  Here we are talking about if consequences of sin can be transferred to the offspring of the transgressor. I make bold to reiterate the obvious, that sin has consequences. Let me quote from the authority of the world the bible.  Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin  is  death; but the gift of God  is  eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What is a wage? It is what a laborer earns at the end of his task, calculated hourly. On the Flipside, a gift is not based on your labor, but is just given by the benefactor.
