TRIPARTITE GROWTH

One of the birthdays stories ever told in the new testament turned out to be anticlimax when a scheming woman saw an opportunity in the loose words of the celebrant and got the most priced trophy; the head of John the baptist , beheaded on her daughter's request. A man described as the greatest born of woman, by our lord and savior Jesus Christ.see story in the book of Mark6:20-27.
This sad incidence has lead many to out rightly banned the celebration of birthdays.Others called it the evil thing invited by Satan and yet, others make a doctrine out it: Christians must never indulge in such worldly pleasures as birthdays.
August28 is my birthday and i am not here to give any postulations concerning the subject ,but rather, to ask of the Lord something; after all a woman asked for the head of a great man and got it.How much more will the Lord give to those who asked Him of the Holy Spirit.
My desire to ask for these three request is informed by the knowledge that Master, is able to grant my request even, speedily for that matter.
In the book of psalms 84:7 that it is possible to grow from strength to strength.
Again in the book of Romans1:17 we are told about the growth of faith. who in his right mind would not desire that?
Last, but not the least,the growth from glory to glory as promise in the book of 2Corinthians3:18
Of these three things, i pray lord,for myself and all those born who call upon the name of the lord from a singular heart. Amen.

THE UPROAR OVER A CAR GIFT

 Recently, the general oversea and founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, marked his 70th birthday. Alot of feeding and other event, but the social media was agog with one thing; the gift of Rolls-Royce car to this man of God who has an outstanding record in Evangelism in  Nigeria regarding establishing ministries in every nook and crannies of Nigeria, and extending to other African countries.
