Those who place church before Christ[2]

1 Peter 2:9,  But ye   are   a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Where are these people who are members of this holy nation found? How are they admitted into this so- called nation?. simply and made easy; anyone who receives the preaching of the gospel and accepts the Lord Jesus as his personal savior automatically becomes a member! Jesus assured such a one in the book of  Revelation 3:20,  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Again, in the book of John  6:37,  all that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Again, see  John 3:16,  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him sho...

THOSE WHO PLACE THEIR CHRUCH BEFORE CHRIST.[1]

The church is best understood when viewed for what it is. The church is a spiritual body, and Christ as the head of that body. It is noteworthy that this ‘body’ of Christ did not come into place until after his death, burial, and triumphant resurrection. For the church wherein he is the head and we the body was birthed after his resurrection and not before. See   Matthew 26:26,  and as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed   it , and brake   it , and gave   it   to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. See   Ephesians 5:23,  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. All those who have accepted the free gift of salvation through what Christ achieved on the cross of Calvary are automatically members of this body. Just as no living body [human cannot function without a head, so too, the church cannot function without Christ who is the head. Paul...

What is required[2]

Psalms 51:2,  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. There lies within man frailties that we never knew were there until they put us in an embarrassing situation[s] or we do not even want to admit they [frailties] there. A man who comes to himself, look critically at himself, like a man beholding his true features in a mirror, embrace his reflection. That is the beginning of growth, maturity and above all,  humility , which is a required before God. Apostle Peter, was a victim of this deception when he refused to agree with Jesus when Christ foretold of his imminent betrayal at his hands. [ we serve a God we knows us than we know ourselves, He knows what we are capable of doing, and what we can not pull off because he knows us all therefore, when we approach his place we must do so admitting and believing all he says about us. This is humility, and when we take this approach he can then work in our lives producing, what men shall see the next ...

WHAT IS REQUIRED[1]

At the beginning of every year, resolutions are made, many vows are taken before loved ones, before the mirror and others before the alters, but how many have what it takes to keep the vows and how many remember their resolutions thereafter? To carry out this change, many make their way to worship centres, thinking there is an aura and power that will help bring about the change they desire. Others stay at home too, also thinking better determination this time around will break the circle of “resolution and failing”, While others have come to a place where they just throw in the tower, after all, no one is perfect – adopt a stance of;” this- is- who- I- am”, accept me or leave me. Many habits , vices have affected marital relationships, personal relations and trust. A man once accused of pilfering with Ransome demanded by the kidnappers was once justified by his friend, who said that covetousness and greed are his weak points. Therefore, his thievish and dishonest attitude should...
