Man’s quest for immortality[final]

 Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Knowledge shall increase the bible admits, no one can deny the exploits in the filed of science and technology in our time. They have gone in leaps and bounds venturing and doing exploits in areas never imagined. Man has advanced in the information technology and cyber warfare. In quest for immortality man has also made some significant leaps, but these areas are is in longevity and not in immortality. Medical breakthroughs abound everywhere though the price tag is out of the reach of the common man, for the moment. Take for example, ‘the  Brain-computer interfaces [BCI]  neural implants allow paralyzed patients to speak or control prosthetic limbs using only their thoughts by decoding brain signals in real-time’

In other areas, AI has outperformed humans in detecting some ailment via scans. But all these breakthroughs tend to double human life expectancy and cannot guarantee immortality. According to report, surgical enhancement for the wealthy has already become a very big business and some advertise their ability in human upgrade. But despite these wonders in medicine and technology, despite these astronomical leaps these sphere belongs to this world; God told “Adam dress the garden” no doubt the ability to imagine to invite was also given to man. Mans knowledge shall increase but this knowledge is limited and only meant for this world. It is not heavenly or spiritual. Our lord and savior said, in the book of John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? Living a life of immortality on this earth is not possible that is a heavenly experience and cannot be here for sin has upended that through what transpired in the first garden called Eden. Jesus displayed some of heavenly realities while on earth like raising the death like Lazarus who was already dead three days before Jesus showed up. A dead man for three days is already transitioning from ‘fresh’ stage into the bloat stage –‘rigor mortis” [stiffening] has already occurred. But Jesus said to a three day corpse in John 11:43, with a loud voice,” Lazarus, come forth”.  How? The medical world would ask. The answer is applying a heavenly law in this world just to allow us have a glimpse of what those who die as Christians shall experience. Psalms 139:6 ,Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Extension of faith

  2 Timothy 4:14-15 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.[KJV]In this era of social media, anyone can remain anonymous while spewing hate and insult, under the guise of free speech. Those targeted are often tempted to reciprocate in like manner. In this kind of scenario, the pastor or a person of who comes online to express his faith are mostly the target of such hate. If no constrains is applied, the victims find himself resorting to petitions God, to visit such persons with indignations and holy fury, that knows no bound. Many a times the christian who comes online to express his faith is bullied, insulted and called unprintable names.The subject of faith attracts negative comments than another subject.
