All religion believe in conversion; no religion discriminates by color, race or creed. They all believe all humans are the handiwork of a god; at least they are being honest with that. Despite the killings, and maiming associate with some of them, the ardent followers still welcome and indeed, like all other to embrace their ways and the god they worship. Good enough, these religions believes in morality and some truth in their teachings. Half truth is no truth because it is applied in order to sell a big lie. Even Satan has to apply some truth in other to sell his lies. But the one thing that separates Christianity from all other major religion is this question about life and death which all religions have addressed. The eastern religions seem to play down the sacred nature Christianity, Islam and Judaism views life. Coincidentally the three believes in life after death. The belief in karma, a circle of rebirth till until the person achieves liberation or mystic personality is purely an eastern religious practice. Asceticism is a part of that practice. So if you find somebody dying, do not be too eager to save him if you can, for you may be interfering with his karma. But in Christianity, physical death is mourned and grieved. Christianity expresses the creation of humans in wonders. Psalms 139:14, says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Also in the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus shows how the Samaritan went out of his way to care for a man that lay dying on the road side. Again,Jesus brought back Lazarus to life after three days . John 11:20-23, Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. John 11:24-26 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Jesus did not laugh or play down the grief of the people who were mourning, or tell them a story of how Lazarus will reincarnate, therefore, Lazarus, should be left in peace, but NO he brought him back to life! Belief in reincarnation plays down death and makes one insensitive when a soul dies. Does it makes sense to think that all those suffering now are only going through such hardship because of their former life and are only paying the price [law of karma] they belief freedom comes to the person through a strict asceticism ‘which burns off existing karma matter, but in Christianity we are told that Jesus paid the price for our redemption from sin see Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Christianity is not about morality, dos and don’ts which bind the major religion together, but it is about the doctrinal differences. It is “I am a creation of God, God loves me, I have sinned, Jesus died for me if I receive him I am saved”. The price required from a holy God was meant by his son when he died a shameful death on the cross. After he paid this price he triumphantly uttered the words, read this: John 19:30 when Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. A just and a holy God cannot write-off sin just like that otherwise it will negates his claim of holiness and righteousness; every sin must be paid for and the sacrifice must also be without sin. All these made sense to me and I know it will also make you think; the fact is that the message of Christianity has not been presented by good messengers. Any messenger who cannot present Jesus as the son of God, sent to die for our sins, and he is the way to God, and the truth and life, has failed woefully.
