Pastor Adeboye in Amsterdam

Image
The general overseer of one of the most popular Pentecostal ministry based in Nigeria, pastor Enoch Adeboye of RCCG, is expected in Amsterdam to EUROCON. This is not the first time that this program is taken place; it involves interdenominational and pastor spread across Europe will be visiting. Hotels are always fully booked. This time we want to expect the unregenerate, those who have no Inkling of who this Jesus is, what his death has done for them and faith in him can save them from damnation, and those who do not know his power to deliver and to save. To pastors in Europe the fact that evangelism do not produce the expected result in continental Europe. This is a continent that is steep in their own ways and trust in themselves. There is Need of great revival, the land is thirsty for signs and wonders, the visitation of the Lord; the like that was experienced in California, Azusa revival. Let us break the fallow ground  Hosea 10:12,  Sow to yourselves in righteousn...

Osinachi’s death,where she missed it

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. If we sub with the holy spirit we become his friends and he tells us what is going on and what will happen. Our late gospel artist missed out on the bible passages otherwise she would still be alive today. When we are bound by the letter we become rigid and shot out the voice of the spirit which has been given us to led, guide, direct us. The obvious action King David could have taken as a warrior and an experience soldier was to go after the enemies who came to plunder their camps and made away with thier wives; the uproars were there; the abuse was there yet, King David was not move as expected, but heard what God would say about the dismal situation.  1 Samuel 30:6-8  And David was greatly distressed; for the peop...

DAERH COULD NOT HOLD HIM CAPTIVE

Matthew 28:6  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  1 Thessalonians 4:13-14  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  Philippians 3:10-11  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  The power and pride of sin over us is its sting of death. The holy sepulchre is the name of the traditional ground they buried our lord and saviour according to the book of John’s gospel, the tomb was also close to the place of his crucifixion. John 19:40-42  Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of ...

THE REDEMPTIVE BLOOD

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul . Atonement is a sin offering that was carried out every year Exodus 30:10 And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD. It is the blood that stands or take the place of the soul that has to die as a result of sin Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. For souls to live that must feed on the flesh and blood of Christ John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. Just as the body is sustain by food and drink. Jesus bought you w...

That infamous slap

After I watched Will Smith’s slap on the unprotected face of Chris Rock, my first reaction was to wonder what the youth would say about this. I have two of them at home. Yes, they are young but i just have to know how what is thier opinion is based on this scenario vis-à-vis thier knowledge from the word of God. From biblical times, men have always enjoyed taken delight in being in an audience, watching as one person /persons on a podium makes them laugh through his action. Let us see an example of this in the book of  Judges 16:25,  And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars. That word “SPORT”, means to amuse. These were no believers in Jehovah, nor were they Christians in the new testament era. What a way for men to find mirth and laughter, to get pleasure from seeing others in pain. Am not...

FAITHFUL AND HONEST

2 Corinthians 8:21  Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord but also in the sight of men. Acts 6:3  Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. Recently, news that truck drivers employed by multinational Group have been involved in massive stealing of the company’s truck tires, amounting to millions. So sad. Why? The reason is not farfetched. This company is one of the largest employers of labor, keeping food on the tables of a majority of the hitherto unemployed, thus reducing the unemployment saga of our time. One of the endemic problem we have as a people is the problem of stealing. Theft, not by the people outside, but by employees of companies, organizations, a place where they earn their livelihood. They often steal with impunity even small stuff that is not worth the soiling of one’s name. The st...

Patriarch Kirill backs invasion

Image
John 18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. When Patriarch Kirll spoke against the invaded Ukrainians, little did he know it will cause such a ripple; or he just did not care who his allegiance seems to point by voicing support for the Russian invasion of a sovereign state. T he h ead of the  Russian Orthodox church, Patriarch Kirill, a trusted ally of Vladimir Putin, has declined to condemn the Kremlin’s decision to invade its neighbour, referring to Russia’s opponents in Ukraine as “evil forces”. In a Sunday sermon last week he also said gay pride parades organised in the west were part of the reason for the war in Ukraine. In a swift reaction,   A Russian Orthodox church in Amsterdam has announced it is to split with the Moscow patriarchate, in the first known instance of a western-based church cutting...
