The beckoning within us does not bring God to us, but brings us to God. Now, this kind of faith is common to all men because all men have faith. Believe, for without believe, in something we can not live in this universe. For example, if i do not believe that i will get to my destination if i take a flight, i will never board that flight.   The word Hemelvaartsdag”, is Ascension-day in the Netherlands. This day is a holiday and I dare say, this is one of the two holidays in the country that bears any resemblance to Christianity. The majestic looking cathedrals having been converted to museum and others as shopping malls. The Ascensión of Jesus is one of the ultimate proofs of his divinity and his claim as the son of God.
